Dr. Anthony Salvian MD, FRCSC
The Pacifc Vein Clinic was founded
by vascular surgeon Dr. Anthony
J. Salvian. Dr. Salvian practices
at the Vancouver Hospital and
is a Clinical Professor of Surgery
at the University of British
Columbia. He has published a
number of papers on venous disease
and has taught the management
of varicose veins to medical
students and surgeons-in-training
for more than twenty years.
Dr. Salvian has treated thousands
of patients with varicose veins
and spider veins. As well, he
has attended a number of international
meetings in order to obtain
the most up to date treatments
available.
Registered Vascular Technologists:
Registered Vascular Technologists
(RVTs) are highly trained individuals
specializing in ultrasound and
Doppler (sound-wave) imaging
of blood vessels. Our RVTs play
an essential role in the evaluation,
treatment and followup care
of our patients with venous
disorders. Our technicians have
been instrumental in bringing
innovative techniques to Canada
and are very involved in teaching
these techniques to their colleagues.
